Hopscotch at Southbank is an Urban Beer Bar where you can take in the amazing riverside view while enjoying a wide range of locally brewed and imported craft beer with up to 30 on tap. 

The venue features a riverside terrace, providing patrons with scenic views of the Yarra River and the city skyline. The interior is adorned with neon signage, hanging plants, and floral murals, the perfect environment to enjoy a diverse selection of food and drinks. 

Before Hopscotch, this site was home to The World Bar, which was established in 2004. The World Bar contributed to Southbank’s transformation from a primarily industrial district into a vibrant cultural and entertainment precinct.  

Southbank itself has undergone significant redevelopment since the 1990s, shifting from warehouses and factories to a dynamic hospitality and entertainment destination.  

In 2017, Hopscotch was established at the site of The World Bar. As part of the ongoing evolution of Southbank, Hopscotch continues to reflect the area’s modern energy!
